This page covers the website trydecade.com and its waitlist. The Decade app will have its own privacy policy before it is released.

Who is responsible

Oblique Oy, Helsinki, Finland (Business ID 3666582-1) is the data controller. Questions and requests: admin@trydecade.com.

What we store when you join the waitlist

• Your email address.
• The time you joined.
• A shortened, one-way hash of your IP address, used only to spot abuse. The address itself is not stored.
• Your browser's user agent string, the page you came from and your browser language, to understand where signups come from.

Why, and on what basis

We use your email to send you one message when Decade is on the App Store, and possibly a small number of updates about the launch before that. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us, and we will delete your record.

How long

Until twelve months after the launch of Decade, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.

Where it is stored

Records are stored in a private storage bucket operated by Vercel Inc. for this website. Vercel acts as our processor under its data processing agreement.

What this site does not do

No cookies. No analytics scripts. No advertising or tracking pixels. We do not sell or share your data.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, and you can withdraw consent, by emailing admin@trydecade.com. You can also complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman at tietosuoja.fi.
